CMJ Cabinets began in 2007 with a simple idea: Los Angeles families deserve cabinetry made by real craftsmen, not mass-produced boxes. What started as a small family shop is today a team of 13 designers, builders, and installers serving homeowners across Southern California. But some things haven't changed: we still measure every space ourselves, build every cabinet in our own workshop, and stand behind every install with our name.

From start to finish, the entire team was professional, kind, responsive, and accommodating. My home is a 100+ year-old Spanish-style house with uneven walls, making standard closet systems difficult to install. Jesus and his team took the time to understand the challenges and came up with creative, customized solutions that worked beautifully. What impressed me most was their commitment to customer satisfaction. Whenever we ran into an issue or I wanted something adjusted, they made it a priority to make it right. They didn't consider the job finished until I was completely happy with the result. Their pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and the installation was completed efficiently and on time. They also have a workshop in Inglewood where you can view their work and meet with the team in person. Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We visit your home, take exact measurements, and walk you through design options at no cost and with no obligation.

How long does a custom cabinet project take?

Most kitchens and closets take 4–8 weeks from final measurements to install, depending on scope. We give you a firm timeline once the design is locked in.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, CMJ Cabinets is CSLB licensed #1020723, BBB accredited, and fully insured. We handle design, fabrication, and installation with one accountable team.

Do you build the cabinets yourselves, or subcontract the work?

Everything is fabricated in our own Los Angeles workshop by our own craftsmen, and installed by our own team, not subcontractors. One company, start to finish.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Los Angeles and serve homeowners within a 40–60 mile radius, including Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.

Can I choose my own wood, finish, and hardware?

Absolutely. Every project is custom: you pick the wood species, finish, door style, and hardware, we build it to your exact space and style.
